Dianne Shirley Dianne Shirley, age 69, passed away Wednesday June 23, 2004 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born August 18, 1934 in Ada, Oklahoma to Eldon and Lillian (Huffman) Trippe. She grew up in Ada and graduated from Ada High School. After graduation, she married her husband of fifty-two years, Jerry Shirley. They lived in Saudi Arabia for seven years and moved to Mustang in 1967. She was a wonderful wife and mother and a friend to many. She was a member of Chisholm Heights Baptist Church since 1967. She had four principles she believed in and lived by: 'Today is not a dress rehearsal; Stop and smell the roses; Show your family how much you love them; and Love one another" Survivors include her husband, Jerry Shirley of the home, two sons, Mike Shirley of Kansas City, MO, and Jerry Max Shirley of Oklahoma City and one daughter Linda Gamble and husband Roy of Oklahoma City. She was preceded in death by her parents, one baby girl Marci Dianne, one grandchild Emily, one brother Julian and one sister Marci. Services will be held at 3PM Sunday June 27, 2004 at Chisholm Heights Baptist Church, with interment following at Mustang Cemetery under the direction of McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, Oklahoma.
