Here's an abbreviated update on Betty, Bill's wife. The full version is on the myfamily.com board "Ada High Class of 1952" which Buddy Lollar and others post to. As you know from above, they went to a specialist and as of the 13th of Apr had been in hospitals for 7 weeks. Quote from Bill "She is diagnosed with "paraneoplastic" and "opsoclonus". She has antibodies in her blood that are attacking her nervous system...Today, her blood tests showed that her white cell count has dropped so now we have to be alert about infections and watch hygiene. She is scheduled for another round of chemo next Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They told us in St. Louis to expect this and to watch for fever." There is a lot more, but the bottom line is she is a very sick lady and I'm sure Bill is having a hard time. Best wishes to him.
