Long time no "see". My time seems to be rather taken up nowadays. Bill moved to Westhaven Nursing Home on April 2. Has made improvements. From a feeding tube (couldn't swallow) to being able to swallow and is now moving from puree to soft mechanical. Walking is improving also. Uses a Merry Walker so he can move around when he wants to and is improving on using a regular walker. Some improvement mentally, but still has days of not remembering where he is or thinks he has tickets on a plane to fly somewhere. Considering where we started, he has come a long ways. Not likely to be moving home to stay how- ever as his sleep patterns are so irregular that he needs 24 hour supervision. Have learned a lot more than I ever wanted to about nursing homes. Luckily we are in a nice one.
