Does anyone remember the days when the Letterman club would haze new members and form a belt line down the practice field for the neophytes?
I remember being 'inducted' and running the gauntlet, and having to eat a vaseline and tabasco sandwich on the front steps of the school. I think nowadays that would be unusual...due to the political correctness of the era. But I can remember it as a rite of passage and was proud to be a member.
