Format: One hour socializing,
banquet, then
program. Planning for the program is in progress. There
should be a
short business meeting. We are hopeful that Kyle Perrin will make
one
of his inspirational talks. We will have to make other plans if
Kyle
cannot attend this year.
Guests: Leland and Mary Newton will
be our guests.
There will be no invitations to other AHS Classes, but
reservations
and fees will be accepted.
Location: Elks Lodge in small
dining room near the front, bar will not be available. Fee will
be $30:00 per person.
Address Book: Bill McKeel will
revise the data base
(Excel) and publish forty copies of the book. Bill will
e-mail a copy
of the data base to Clyde Kidd.
Missing Addresses: We are still
missing addresses
for Christine Brandon Fitz, Robert McCollum, Rebecca Menasco Cantrell,
Oral Gene Pittman, Mildred Robinson Hawkins, Dorothy Shidler Griffin,
Jim Whittle and Bill Winfield.
Nametags: Clyde Kidd will make
nametags for
Classmates and Spouses and will include picture from Annual.
Blank
tags with space for name and class will be provided for members of
other classes.
Web Site: Bill McKeel with help
from family will
maintain and update the AdaHighClassof50.com site. There is
also a
MyFamily.com site for pictures.
Scholarship Fund: At the end
of year, bank balance will be donated to the Scholarship Fund as a lump
sum from all Classmates.
Newsletter Details: Letter to
Classmates with
information about our 60th Reunion, and Invitation will
be mailed by
August 1, 2010. RSVP will be requested by September 1,
2010. A copy
of the 58th letter was edited for this year's data. Clyde Kidd
will
send June a blank with letterhead. June will type, reproduce and
procure envelopes for the letter. Clyde will also provide address
labels. Committee members will meet and stuff envelopes.
Thanks to Donald and Charlene for sharing
their home, and thanks to Donald, Charlene, June and Maxine for coffee
and sweeties.
