God Bless America - which god? If you mean the only true God of the Bible, then ask, "Why should God bless America?" Read the answers in Proverbs, chapter 14, verse 34; Isaiah chapter 29, verses 13 and 14; and Isaiah chapter 59 verses 1 and 2. There are many more portions of Scripture that deal with this matter.

looks like we DO need to check Proverbs:
Proverbs 22:10 "Cast out the scoffer, and contention will leave; Yes, strife and reproach will cease."
We don't need preaching on this board - although I believe in free speech, in my opinion we would be better off staying on topic and chatting with childhood friends about good times and memories.
