Anyone remember how nice it was when we started the school year the Tuesday after Labor day?
Nowadays, most schools around here start the 2nd Week in AUGUST! And still get out the last week of May.
Of course, our football team had to show up the middle of August (In our good old days) and check out the uniforms and equipment, and get out in the hot Oklahoma August sun for two-a-day practices. Great times at AHS!
