Somewhere in my "stuff" is a newspaper article that explains what happened to the number count. What I remember is that we always had 140 members (70 girls and 70 boys). Trice Broadrick was our speaker at the first reunion (1956 I think) He was the one to get the count wrong in his speech and it got repeated in the newspaper.
